It was in the news over the weekend. Floods hit Camarines Norte and many parts of Bicol were underwater.
As far as I can remember, it is the first time that my hometown is declared under the state of calamity because of provincial-wide floods.
I think it is already a clear evidence of a changing climate pattern. My own hometown Labo in the province of Camarines Norte is flooded.
My skin crawl upon seeing the video footages in television.
The shape of my life today starts with my family. It is determined by my background and childhood, my mind and its education, my conscience and its pressure, my heart and its desires and the people who taught me the meaning of kindness and compassion.
