Why Frank (Fengshen)?

Frank has successfully visited the country leaving behind hundreds of dead bodies, casualties, displaced families and destroyed houses and agricultural products.

Yesterday’s report showed families of the passengers of MV Princess of the Star, which over turned at the height of typhoon Frank. They were waiting at the shipping line’s office here in Manila while the mayor of Masbate was ordering the mass grave of the floating corpses - that reached their island - at their public cemetery. So tragic!

Let us offer our prayers for the victims and their families.

Let us also give thanks that during ‘Frank’s visit, while others are evacuating, ‘swimming’ for their lives, saving properties from floods or ignoring hunger, we are conveniently confined in the safety of our homes without even noticing that there was a typhoon that hit the country at 110 to 120 KPH.
